GRTYSA Programs

Mod - ages U5 - U10. Mod is short for "modified", meaning the field size, number of players and other rules have been modified to provide a fun learning experience for the younger ages. The emphasis is on fun, learning and participation. The youngest ages have just 3 players aside on the field, with the number of players increasing up to 6 aside at U10.

To enter your child in the Mod program, just complete the registration process and you will be notified when your child is placed on a team.

Rec/Select - ages U11 - U19. The Rec/Select program for the older players provides opportunities for kids to play well into their teen years.

  • Recreational - Keeping the emphasis on participation and fun, recreational teams are formed simply by the registrar placing players on a team, and is often centered on kids playing with their friends.
Register your child, then work with the registrar and the coach for your child's age to coordinate getting them placed on the desired team.
  • Select - For players desiring a level of play above that of recreational. Select teams typically have tryouts and are placed in leagues with other competitive teams. Our select teams are very affordable and involve a manageable commitment level.
If your child missed tryouts contact the coach for your child's age to ask about openings on that team.

Regional/Premier - ages U10-U19 Our association partners with Pacific Northwest soccer club (PacNW) in providing opportunities for advanced players to participate in a premier soccer program, part of the Regional Club League. Players for PacNW teams are chosen through a tryout process. Participation in the Premier/Regional program involves significantly higher costs and commitment level, providing the benefits of professional coaching and year-round competitive play. View our Select Tryout page for more info.

PacNW also offers Junior Academies for the U8-U9 ages, where players receive additional training by PacNW staff coaches in a group environment.
